Armed with a curiosity to learn Japanese language and keenness to discover their culture, I joined Sakuraa Nihongo Resource Centre, Bengaluru, India in Jan 2025 to do the 6-month long JLPT N5 course. Online learning was adopted by me as I was learning three languages viz. French (for my PG admission), Spanish (started in April 2025) and Japanese (N5) at a given time.
I enjoyed the process of learning difficult Japanese alphabets with Utkarsh Sensei [Hiragana (46 characters) and Katagana (46 characters)] at Sakuraa Nihongo Resource Centre, Bengaluru between January and May 2025.
The 100-Hours Basic Japanese Course made me learn basic greetings & introduction, numbers, times & dates, colours, food, family vocabulary and simple sentence patterns.
My Sensei simplified the learning process of the Japanese language by using mnemonics.
I appeared for JLPT N5 level exam conducted in July 2025 and passed successfully.
I aspire to reach higher levels in Japanese in due course of my life.
